This meeting was held in Craiova, Romania, between 25 – 29 October 2022, with assistance of all the schools partners in this project: Kurun Yhtenäiskoulu, IISS Fortunto Fedele, Agrupamento de escolas Dr. Ginestal Machado, IES Da Pobra do Caraminal and Bergama Cumhuriyet Anadolu Lisesi.
Despite the fact that problems with the flights meant that the Spanish team could not enjoy the activities of the first day.
Tuesday was first day at school, for welcoming and meeting with the staff, and having a school tour.
The participating countries were introduced and some warm-up activities were held.
After lunch, the Romanian delegation accompanied the guests to the Local Council of Craiova where they met officials of the local public administration.
In the afternoon, a guided tour of the city center was organized and a visit to the History Museum of Craiova.
First activity in Wednesday morning was a Presentation of each school and education systems, as well as presentation of Craiova, Romania and Romanian education system.
After finishing all presentations, a trip to Orsova was organized with a cruise on the Danube river. Students were involved in quizzes on probiotics, food production and more.
Thursday started with a talk given by two nutritionists who also held an interactive workshop on the topic of Healthy Lifestyle, Healthy Diet, Pre and Pro Biotics.
After this activity, the delegations left school on a trip to Horezu town, a famous pottery area in Romania, where the participants had lunch at a traditional Guest House called Conacul Lui Maldar.
Here students were taught how to make sauerkraut, pickles and preserves using only organic ingredients, and vegetable salads. After this, students attended a pottery workshop.
Friday started with a visit to ETI biscuits factory in Craiova, where students were presented the history of ETI products, the production line, and vegan recipes.
After the visit, students came to school and had their own presentations on probiotics, on healthy eating for teenagers and videos of them cooking different recipes.
In the afternoon, after lunch, students visited the Faculty of Horticulture, University of Craiova, where two university professors presented them the benefits of probiotics.
The festive dinner took place at Arlington Hotel.
Saturday first activity in the morning was a workshop called Robotics 1.01 – First steps in Robotics. Studens were split into two groups, they were taught how to control a robot and give it commands so that it would pick the healthy food from a basket.
After the workshop, teachers and students had to fill in some feedback and conclusions forms.
On sunday all the groups travelled to Bucharest for their flights back home.
